The following are some of the things that confirm the originality of AMP Research products.

Manufactured with U.S Certified Aluminum

AMP Research uses U.S certified aluminum alloy to build the linkage components of the powerstep before applying the anodized and Teflon coating to offer maximum protection against corrosion. It has a stainless –steel pivot pins that require zero maintenance for several decades. The powerstep components to pass durability and environmental tests such as 1,000-hour salt spray tests.

OEM Quality

In order to meet the set quality standards of Ford, GM, Toyota, Chrysler, Nissan and Mopar, AMP Research is ISO 900:2008 certified. Covered by about 16 patents, the powerstep feature weatherproof OEM quality sealed connectors, motors and wiring harness. The 6063-aluminium step board further features two internal ribs for additional rigidity and stiffness. Each AMP research PowerStep™ kits has two full-length running boards assemblies for both passenger and driver sides, wiring harness, electronic controller, two electric motors and all required mounting hardware, LED light system.

The AMP Research powerstep has been tested as well as proven in the long-term, in various driving conditions and has exhibited flawless performance in dirt, snow, ice, mud and dust.

The rock-solid yet lightweight running board is manufactured using aircraft-quality aluminum. It further features black-anodized as well as Teflon coating that ensures maximum protection against corrosion. The Power Step

One of AMP’s most popular products- the Power Step- is a top seller and is manufactured in the United States using die-cast aluminum components that makes them durable. It is also designed with high-strength with anodized and Teflon coated to resist corrosion.

This automatic electric running board automatically extends when you open your truck’s door. It also provides improved ground clearance as it hides itself out of sight when you close the truck’s door. By the end of 2010, more than 30,000 Powerstep systems had been sold and installed on GM and Ford vehicles. At times, you may find it challenging to spot a genuine AMP research powerstep.
