New Mickey Thompson Sportsman S/R Radials and Mickey Thompson M/T HR1 forged aluminum wheels along with new products from other industry-leading companies such as Roush, Air Ride Technologies, SSBC, Kicker, CST Roadwire, and more. Built in association with Mickey Thompson Tires partners at Sin City Kustoms in Las Vegas Nevada, It will be seen in several upcoming magazine articles and television shows and will be on tour at high profile shows and events across the country in 2007. Mickey Thompson Advertising Manager, Don Sneddon, who manages the company's project vehicle program, said, "We are very pleased to participate in Ford's project vehicle development program, it gives them the chance to showcase the suggested use of our new products and it gives us the opportunity to work closely with other companies in the aftermarket to develop and market the kinds of new products that keep this industry on the cutting edge."
ET Drag Slicks
Famed vehicle builder and race team owner Jack Roush who provided the power for the truck joined the Mickey Thompson team at the show for a press conference to introduce the New Roush Racing '07 Drag Pack, an exciting new Mustang package that will be available next year. The 2007 Mustang package, shown here in the Mickey Thompson booth, will be loaded with Roush performance products and upgrades. The vehicle will come with Cooper Zeon 2XS tires for street driving and the owner will receive a pair of Mickey Thompson ET Drag Slicks for drag racing. The vehicle is designed to be driven off the dealer showroom and out to the drag strip where owners can expect to run the quarter mile in 12 seconds with no additional modifications. In testing, the Roush team was able to achieve several runs in the 11.9 seconds and 113 mph range! Several drag racing sanctioning bodies are considering developing special race classes just for owners of these street legal factory drag cars, the likes of which have not been seen since the early '70s.

SEMA show management also stopped by the Mickey Thompson tire booth with a special award recognizing the company as being a Founding Member. of the SEMA organization. This year is the 40th anniversary of the show, Mickey Thompson was at the very first show in 1967 and has been there ever since.
