Dinan carbon fiber intake combines elegance and performance, it allows the engine to breathe more outside air via twin-ducts while providing structural stiffness to the strut towers. Each of the two added inlets has its own high flow filter mounted into the mouth of the carbon fiber inlet. For maximum airflow, the stock air inlet provides four intakes in the engine. The black powder coated ducts allow the filtered air from the inlets to pass directly into the engine. Dinan engineered an innovative solution for F10 550i, smaller room to work with under the hood, by combining the shock tower brace and the inlet tube into one part.
