Chevrolet Leveling Kits
Chevrolet is GM's largest brand, currently offering 19 vehicles and many different enhanced versions. The brand's vehicles range from subcompact cars to medium duty commercial trucks. Its number one sellers include the Impala, which is the number one selling car with a domestic nameplate in the United States, and the Silverado, the second best-selling pickup truck in the U.S.
ReadyLift® Suspension Inc. has engineered an all-new product for GM Trucks and SUVs. Realizing that in some cases when GM truck owners install large, heavy over-sized off road tires and then use the vehicle off road or aggressively on the street, the thin, weak OEM tie rods can bend under the force of impact. This can even be a problem with trucks with absolutely no suspension modifications. One strong impact to either front wheel and tires can result in a bent tie rod. And you can’t expect the dealer to fix it.
ReadyLift is the first to realize this potential problem and develop a solution to help prevent tie rod damage from impacts and excessive wheel and tire weights. Our new 67-3156 Tie Rod Reinforcement Kit features a pair of tie rod sleeves that thread onto the existing tie rod. High-tensile strength gun-drilled steel sleeves fit snug to the entire circumference of the OEM tie rod to provide the essential support required to handle excessive forces from heavy wheels and tires and hard impacts from off roading.
Fits on both OEM and Napa replacement tie rods. Direct bolt on. If done properly, no alignment is required when complete.
Designed for use on 1999-2007 Chevy 6 lug 2-4WD ½ ton, 2000-2009 Chevy 8 lug 2-4WD HD, & H2 Hummer. Works with all ReadyLift GM applicable leveling kits.
