Pro Comp Adds Rock Crawler Wheels

If you are an off-road enthusiast who enjoys the challenges and victories of rock crawling over difficult terrain, than you already know that the sport is one of the most extreme forms of driving that anyone can do on four wheels. Using light trucks, Jeeps or buggies, drivers take their vehicles over insanely harsh terrain, which include driving up boulders, mountains and narrow trailheads.

For most car freaks, the joys of competing in an automotive event usually involves going fast with tires spinning, however rock crawling is for an entirely different type of enthusiast. Instead of racing a clock or other drivers, rock crawling is all about slow speed and precision driving in hopes of getting over (or down) otherwise impassable obstacles. For many rock crawlers, it’s not uncommon to spend more than 10 minutes trying to get on top of single boulder. Pro Comp 152: This wheel was specifically made to offer a hardcore look on a street legal wheel. The simulated beadlock finish covers the welded, smooth outer ring, which gives a modern look on this steel wheel.
Pro Comp 87: A deep dish, small round hole look and extreme strength make this wheel one of the strongest rims on the market. These wheels are available in 15 or 16’’ and can be used for excessive abuse or for leisurely drives to the supermarket.
Pro Comp 82: These wheels were made for rock crawlers who demand attention. Getting Started in Rock Crawling

Rock Crawling is one of the most addictive types of off-road driving. Naturally, one of the most important things to keep in mind before showing up at the Moab Desert is putting together a machine that can handle the terrain you plan on conquering.
