Pro Comp’s front driveshaft is the perfect upgrade for 4WD vehicles with Pro Comp Suspension installed. This driveshaft will allow for vehicle operation in 4 HI or Auto 4X4 at speeds above 25 mph in conditions that would require traction control as prescribed in the GM owner’s manual. Double Cardin U-Joints maintain proper driveline angles and reduce driveline vibrations. The main tube is lengthened to an overall length of 36.81 inches for lifted applications and is designed and balanced as a direct bolt-in replacement.
The factory driveshaft ball and cage design joint are replaced with #1310 style u-joints to allow for a stronger engagement, increase the range of motion, and improve seal and driveline life. Exclusive yokes, not flange adapters, are used to allow for a longer driveshaft, unlike our competitors' versions. Pro Comp Suspension rear driveshafts are constructed from 3.00" x 0.095" DOM (drawn-over-mandrel) steel tube and front driveshafts are constructed from 2.00" x 0.120" DOM steel tube.
