The side bars are custom crafted from one-piece heavy-duty 3-inch carbon steel tubing with curved ends and even has rugged eight-point frame mount provides extreme strength. These carbon steel tubes are pre-treated with special "E-coating" rust barriers inside and out. Finished with dual stage high gloss black powder coat and features a reinforced no-slip polyester step pads with secured with 5 pins in a compressed step area for secure footing so there is no exposed metal to rust. Smittybilt Sure Step side bars comes with durable 3/8"-1/4" powder coated steel mounting brackets that requires no drill attachment and even has oversized single bolt attachment preventing tube step bounce or flex. This step bar includes a 3rd center bracket for additional support when needed.
