Not too long ago, I was with a few friends in a Jeep caravan. We made our way into the Rocky Mountains, not too far past Nederland, when one of group got his Jeep stuck in a crevasse made by a house-wide boulder and the rest of the descending cliff.

I’m well aware of what it feels like to be stranded and not able to move, it really puts a damper on your day and possibly your camping year, so to avoid that I take every precaution to make sure whatever elements we come up against in our Safaris or caravans we can drive away from, over, or through.

To have the opportunity to really test out and see what one is made of, and better yet, what one’s vehicle is made of, is the true art of off-roading.  Seeing that the wheels that ATX Series Wheels designs are able to make grueling trips across the Moab makes me feel better about riding on ATX Wheels in Colorado.
