Carlisle Truck Nationals

Mickey Thompson wins again
The Mickey Thompson Performance Tires and Wheels once again braced the 2014 Carlisle Truck Nationals as the official Tire sponsor. The event is scheduled for August 2014 and will take place in Carlisle, Pa. The event will feature over 2,000 4x4s, custom trucks, classic trucks, SUVs and vans thus getting into history as one of the biggest truck event globally. Mickey Thompson will feature M/T big rig together. There will be also Mickey Thompson tires and wheels on display such as the new Deegan 38 mud terrain tire.

Annual Top Truck Challenge

Four Wheeler Magazine was once again a top sponsor at this year’s 22nd annual Top Truck Challenge.

Mickey Thompson wins again
Using a 1995 Chevy S-10 on Mickey Thompson's 54-inch Baja Claw TTC tires, held the first place. Rob Inglis got hold of the second place racing on a 1996 Dodge Ram 1500 with Mickey Thompson tires.

The 2014 event was amended and had the Mini Rubicon instead of the usual Mud Pit because of the drought situation in Calif. In the event list, there was also the Hill Climb and Coal Chute. The competition was thrilling as the event organizers ensured that the course had no water and mud.

Ken Warner, VP of Marketing "We couldn't be happier to share in the celebration with both Matt and Rob this year,” The two races used the Baja Claw TTC that is specifically designed for the challenging environment associated with the unique competition. The event team is composed of approximately 70 people that included the Recovery Crew, the judges, the video production team, the Four Wheeler Staff, the Safety Crew, and the support staff.
