S&S Cycle compression releases are used to reduce any high compression starting problems your bike may be experiencing. They achieve this by eliminating the compression pressure from the engine allowing you to start the engine easily. There are two variants to choose from, the manual release and the electric release. The electric compression release is activated when you press and release the starter button. The manual compression release on the other hand is only activated using a cable. Both the manual and electric releases are made to be tough and are well tested for guaranteed performance.
