Oracle Tail Light CCFL Kits are designed to give your vehicle that extra edge, and to help you and drivers around you remain safe in the daytime or at night. With a quicker that halogen response, they light up even faster than your stock tail lights, this is a major safety factor when driving through busy roads or dealing with traffic jams.
CCFL is a Phosphor-coated glass tube which illuminates when a current is passed through it. The current is input on both ends of the ring and has no polarity. Power inverters are included in every CCFL Halo Kit.
Q: What are the rings made from? A: CCFL (Cold Cathode Fluorescent Lighting) core technology is a phosphor coated glass tube filled with mercury gas. CCFL produces a very bright white light with a slight hint of blue or cyan. The look is very "high tech" and matches HID equipped lights exceedingly well. Additionally, this technology provides for very bright output from the halo rings so they're visible day or night.
Q: How long will these really last? A: CCFL's have a lifetime of 50,000 hours of continuous use.
Q: Will I have to do any additional wiring? A: Oracle Halo kits are shipped with "Plug and Play" connectors.
