JKS Shock Adapters

Overview

Based on the popular JKS Shock Conversions, JKS Shock Adapters convert the OE upper front shock mounts to accommodate professional off-road racing shock absorbers. They bolt to the original shock mounts using massive 7/8" threaded studs and locking nuts.

Traditional shock mounting bolts accommodate the 1/2" or 12mm ID spherical bearings utilized by manufacturers like Bilstein®, Sway-A-Way® and Fox®. The new bolts are relocated 1.10" lower in the wheel opening, providing convenient access to the much stronger, double-shear mounting configuration. Finally, unique conical spacers made from 6061-T6 aluminum alloy are supplied for rattle-free fit and unrestricted operation.

Install Off-Road Racing Shocks on Your Jeep!

Whether slow-paced rock crawling or flat-out desert racing, competition is becoming increasingly popular among Jeep owners. The demands placed on their vehicles require shock absorbers that can handle extreme conditions for sustained periods, making professional off-road racing shock absorbers a natural choice. Unfortunately, the factory Jeep shock mounts will not accommodate the special steel-on-steel, spherical bearings required for mounting. JKS Shock Adapters fix this problem. Get the edge on competition today!
