1. Jack/Jack Stand or Engine lift – You need a safe way to get underneath your car or truck (if it doesn’t already have a lift kit.)
2. Penetrating Oil – PB Blaster and Liquid Wrench work great on rusty bolts.
3. Socketing Wrench with Extensions – Make sure you have the proper sockets before getting dirty.
4. Breaker Bar – Old bolts from on catalytic convertors may be difficult to loosen. These can be handy.
5. Shop Towels – No matter how clean you keep your truck, it’s going to be dirty underneath it.
6. Beer – Every job well done deserves a reward.
