The AMP Research PowerSteps are electronically triggered by the vehicle's factory door sensors and are extended by a rugged motor mounted invisibly behind the rocker panels. These running boards are constructed using the finest OEM quality materials, and their extruded aluminum stepping surface with full-length internal ribs for rock-solid stiffness can support up to a whopping 600 lbs per side. They are equipped with anti-pinch safety guards to prevent the steps from closing on obstructions.
