Advanti Wheels Sponsors North America's Largest VW Show: Waterfest

Being an automotive aftermarket juggernaut in America is extremely difficult. But gaining traction on an international level is even more challenging. In recent years, Advanti Racing Wheels has burst onto this global market, developing a reputation as one of the world’s best wheel manufacturers.

Advanti has gotten so big that they now develop and sell wheels on 6 continents (the only continent not included is Antartica). Since the beginning, the focus on Advanti Wheels has always been on producing wheels that can help drivers reach optimal speeds. According to their website, “The Advanti Racing brand has been increasing heart rates and supplying drivers with adrenaline overdoses for almost 20 years. Advanti Racing’s history in F1 racing are the fundamentals on which their wheels are built.”

This philosophy has created an aura of coolness that surrounds the company, causing them to be one of the most sought after wheel manufacturers. Currently, there are countless companies and events lining up to establish partnerships with this super brand. Last year, one of the most prestigious collaborations came when the Waterfest Volkswagen/Audi Event secured ties for an Advanti sponsorship.

Welcome to Waterfest

Last year, the two day Waterfest Event was in its 19th year, and over the years, it has been regarded as THE largest VW/Audi Car Show and Motorsport event in North America. Held at the world-class Raceway Park in Englishtown, New Jersey, there are over 20,000 attendees each year, as well as over 2,500 vendors. Adding to the pandemonium is the wide range of events and shows that occupy Waterfest. Some of these include:

The Show Car Event- this event typically features over 450 VW’s and Audi’s and 50 different classes. The cars are then judged by a panel of VW and Audi experts based on certain criteria: exterior quality, interior quality, mechanical quality, suspension quality, cleanliness, overall concept and integration, and display.

A Quarter Mile Drag Race- this event features dozens of the very best high performance Volkswagen and Audi vehicles.

A Tire Burnout Contest- this event is one of the major crowd pleasers, drawing thousands of drooling onlookers to see which car can cause the most commotion.

Afterfest (which is the official after party of Waterfest)- this event features live music, drinking, and everything else a person would want from a big time after party.

For years, these events have grown in popularity, providing some of the best memories in Volkswagen lore. Journalist Matt Richards has attended the event numerous times and says, “From great cars to an even better camaraderie with those sharing our same addiction to Audi [and Volkswagen], Waterfest is definitely a can’t miss event of the year.” Of course, gaining a sponsorship from Advanti only boosted this reputation. Because after all, you can’t claim to be the best unless you have the very best.
