Extang’s New Encore Tonneau Cover

Encore Tonneau

Extang has gone a step higher to introduce a new tonneau cover known as the Encore tonneau. This cover is a tri-fold, low profile and hard panel tonneau cover that facilitates easy accessibility from the rear and front. It is easy to install because of its self-position feature and its self-latching offers additional security.

The cover can easily latch at the tailgate because of the built in SecureShut™ rearlock/latch system. Its front panel further features a locking system and rotary latch in additional to a convenient lift assist handle. The cover is built with fiberglass reinforced plastic panel that is 1-inch thick and exclusive for Extang. The panel is OEM graded and hence offers excellent thermal stability and UV protection. Furthermore, the frame is powdered coated and the corners are finished with Extang Tuff hence resistant to scratches and dents.

Versatility

Extang EnCore is one of its own kind 3-panel hard folding tonneau cover on the market. The cover offers rear and front panel opening as well as fold-up. It is easy to access because of its lift assist handle. Its wider openings enable you to enjoy extra room for uploading and storing your cargo.

Easy Removal

It features an easy friendly removal that any other tonneau cover on the market. In order to access full use of your truck bed, you can easily remove it by folding it front and back and finally lifting it up and off. It has a lightweight design that means it is easy to remove and reinstall.

The Design and Ultimate Security

The Encore features the BOLT® with one key technology. Through this design, you can match the panel locks to your ignition key that is available on most models. The Extang heavy-duty rear latch is used to firmly secure the rear of the cover at the tailgate. The panel features a grained surface that offers an enhanced scratch resistance, keeps the cover cooler and offers improved UV protection. The textured and powder coated frame as well as the rubber corners provide excellent resistance to dents, scratches and dings.
