Installation
Note: Requires 2.0 in. suspension lift or greater. Requires Adjustable Trackbar [JKS PN: OGS121] if existing trackbar interferes with steering damper. Not compatible with right hand drive vehicles.
Note: Rear Trackbar Brace [JKS PN: OGS169] is strongly recommended to prevent future damage to axle mount.
Note: Does NOT fit right hand drive models.
Note: Requires 3.0 in. suspension lift or greater. Vehicle must be equipped with CV-type driveshaft. Not compatible with right hand drive vehicles. Relocation Bracket for Rear Trackbar
Note: Requires 2.0 to 6.0 in. suspension lift. Vehicles lifted over 3.0 in. must be equipped with adjustable rear track bar [JKS PN: OGS159 or equivalent] and/or adjustable upper control arms. Compatible with double cardan (U-joint) CV-type or OE Rzeppa-joint driveshaft. Not compatible with right hand drive vehicles. Will not work with OME rear spring Although rare, trimming/grinding may be required with use of certain aftermarket springs.
JKS Relocation Brackets also raise the mounting point on the axle to reduce track bar operating angles and minimize side-to-side axle movement. This improves vehicle stability on lifted vehicles at higher speeds and helps keep the axle centered beneath the chassis at all times. A heavy, steel crush-proof sleeve fits inside the factory bracket to ensure maximum torque can be applied to the mounting hardware without risk of loosening or distortion over time.
