ORACLE AC Ballasts convert the incoming 12V DC power into High Voltage AC Power that ignites and maintains a smooth and consistent stream of energy to the bulb. Alternating Current (AC) ballasts are more stable, have a faster start-up, and prolong the bulb's life. Many competitor's ballasts are DC to DC which is cheaper and does not provide conditioned current. The ORACLE Digital Ballast acts as a monitor to the lighting system. If there is damage detected to the starter or the bulb, the ballast automatically shuts down the flow of power to prevent further damage and exposure.
