Because of the materials used to make the BakBox, it can support a load capacity of 400lbs. This means that it can hold a lot more than just your tool set. The BakBox is constructed of the same material as the BakFlip tonneau covers to give it maximum strength and durability. The panel cores are made from EPS polystyrene which is completely waterproof. You may have noticed from the pictures that the BakBox does not have a lid. Because it sits in the truck, the tonneau cover acts as a lid when closed.

The BakBox is no ordinary toolbox. It is actually a box that integrates with your BakFlip tonneau cover, bringing with it a wide variety of incredible use and functionality. The BakBox easily and securely folds away when you need extra space in your truck bed to carry large items. It is created with impact resistant, non corrosive panels and comes with a sliding tool tray for smaller items. The BakBox also can be used for shelving, a cooler chest and can be removed at times when you need to take your tools onto the job site. You can add one or more BakBoxes to your BakFlip cover too. They simply snap onto your rails for a drill free installation.
