This additional kit comes with tuned progressive rate bump stops that maximizes the suspension travel on the lowered car that improved handling capabilities and rides quality compared to just a spring set. The possibility of an unexpected "bottoming out" is neutralized by allowing for full compression travel within the spring, which is a very unwanted common side effect when lowering a vehicle. Also, the bump stops optimize the spring rate that added mechanical grip and cornering power.
