Dune Grappler

The Nitto Dune Grappler is a tire model that works wonders on the sand. It might be a desert race or a simple expedition, this tire has a number of features that will help your vehicle adapt to the possible challenges out there. Its unique and rigid tread block has the ability to reduce flex and improve your vehicle’s stability. It also has a 3 ply polyester sidewall and sidewall lugs which will guard the tire from puncture hazards coming from the side. The tire is especially popular in the Southwest where arid stretches of terrain are a common thing.

Mud Grappler

Like the Dune grappler, the mud grappler also has sidewall lugs and a 3 ply polyester sidewall construction. This construction helps to protect the tire against rocks and mud. Mud Grappler tire sizes range between 15 and 22 inches thus creating compatibility for a wide range of wheels for trucks and SUVs. Its greatest advantages lie in the fact that it performs just as well in dry conditions as it does in wet conditions.

Trail Grappler

This grappler is a much quieter model than the mud grappler but quite aggressive nonetheless. One look at the tread pattern will tell you that it can overcome numerous obstacles including sand, pebbles, and rocks. This is also made possible by its thick rubber construction. It has added stability around corners which is a plus when you are making your way down a winding trail.

Terra Grappler

It could be regarded as the most advanced tire model in the series. It is a much quieter tire that has greater wet and dry performance than both the trail grappler and the terra grappler. Ideally, it was designed this way as an all-terrain solution for those who tend to do off-road driving on more than just one environment regularly.

Dura Grappler

If you are keen on totally cutting out noise when as you drive, then these are the tires to think about. It’s built for the highway where speed can accelerate to over 100mph and thus you can understand why quietness matters. The other feature that is inherent in the Dura Grappler is its durability. That is why it comes with a 45000-mile limited treadwear warranty for Dura-belt sizes and a 60,000-mile limited treadwear warranty for P-Metric and Metric sizes. It is however not meant to off-road driving.
