Airaid has introduced a new modular intake tubes for Ford Mustangs 2011-2014 built with 5.0 L and 3.7L engines. The new system from the Airaid Company has CARB certification and is legal for sale and use in over 50 states.

The advantage of the Airaid Modular Intake Tube is that it optimizes airflow to the vehicles engine and achieves this by replacing the factory intake tube. Factory tube features sound cancelling baffles, accordion-shaped walls as well as undersized tube diameters that hinder free airflow. Airaid Modular Intake Tube kit assists in strengthening and improving airflow to your vehicle’s engine. It also optimizes the location of the mass air sensor. The kits design enables better throttle response and horsepower for economical fuel consumption.

Modular Intake Tube is built using cross-linked high-density polyethylene for not only strength as well as resistance to heat transfer. The tube is a direct replacement for the previous Factory intake tubes. Modular Intake Tube also accommodates factory fittings and sensors, which attach to the factory tube.

It further features Blade-style weather-stripping that keeps away hot air. The panels provide extra room for larger Airaid performance filter. Its cold air Dam system connects to the factory meter featuring a unique velocity stack that optimizes airflow to the vehicle’s engine.

Furthermore, the Airaid system is modular thus compatible with various aftermarket supercharger kits, resulting into a substantial horsepower improvement if combined with other aftermarket upgrades.
