The removal of motorcycle seats is far easier than one would imagine. To accomplish this, you will need a socket set and ratchet, wrenches and work gloves. The first thing to be done is to set your motorcycle on its kickstand. Furthermore, check if there's a key lock on the motorcycle seat. If there is no key lock, another method is turning the key of the motorcycle to the 'on' position. Do not press down on the key, but while the key is on the 'on' position, it should make taking the seat off easier. Older motorcycles however, require a more detailed touch. With a wrench, take off the bolts that hold your seat to the ride. A socket set and ratchet may also be necessary to reach the bolts. Once the bolts are off, the motorcycle seat can be lifted. On older bikes there are also levels with the bolts that need to be removed, but again, this depends on the age and make of the ride in question. Motorcycle seats while not the most complex part of a ride to deal with, can be of some trouble.
