PIAA RF Series Lights

These new LED lights have advanced technical features and low profile styling that guarantees high quality lighting on the road. The PIAA RF Series lights are quite different from all the other light bars currently available on the market. These light bars feature the Reflector Facing Technology (RFT) that is better than the forward-facing LED lights as it concentrates and focuses the beam pattern more precisely. This makes it easier to control the beam pattern for better light output per watt.

PIAA has taken advantage of the lighting abilities of the LED chips to ensure maximum output at low power consumption. These light bars use the latest CREE LED chips and are available in three different sizes of 6, 10, and 18 inches. The PIAA RF6 lights (six-inch model) uses two high intensity 8-watt LED chips. The PIAA RF10 light bars use four high intensity LED chips while the bigger 18-inch light bars have eight such LED chips.

PIAA is offering these new RF lights in either driving or fog light configurations and they all use PIAA’s proprietary Reflector Facing Technology (RFT). This technology has the LED bulbs facing backwards towards the multi-surface parabolic reflectors that help concentrate and focus the beam pattern. RFT was invented exclusively by PIAA and the company became the first aftermarket lights manufacturer to offer both driving and fog lights using this technology.

These LED light bars are able to produce clean and unified lights with wide range of length thanks to their modular designs that allows cross linkage of multiple lights. According to Justin MacLauchlan, Brand Manager for PIAA, “PIAA pioneered Reflector Facing Technology (RFT), which allows our LED lights to produce much more illumination with fewer LED chips than competitive forward-facing designs. Our RF Series light bars also feature a modular design that allows them to be linked together to suit a wide variety of sizes for virtually any application.”

The RF Series LED light bars are easy to install as they come with pre-assembled harnesses that need to be attached to the roof racks, roll bars, bumpers or any other convenient place on the vehicle.
