B&W Towing Hitches: Small But Extremely Useful

When Rogers Baker got into the hitch manufacturing business, he had come in with an excellent background in producing the best truck beds in town. He understood just how important a good towing hitch is to a trucker. It was just as important to get its design right, and that is why he did away with the traditional construction approach on most hitches that included a large plate, which folded the hitch ball downwards.

Instead, he came up with his own set of innovative hitch designs, such as the B&W Tow and Stow ball mounts and B&W Turnoverball Gooseneck Hitch.

&W Tow and Stow Ball Mounts & Receiver Hitch

B&W Tow and Stow ball mounts come in a variety of models, all of which seek to eliminate the need to have multiple ball mounts. With a tri-ball and dual ball combination, molded into the B&W Tow and Stow Receiver hitch, all you have to do is rotate the mount to the different ball size options and pick the one that works best for you at any given moment.

Not only can you choose the ball size you want but you can also choose the height at which is mounts! The height of the Tow and Stow Receiver hitch is adjustable by 1 inch increments. You also have the option of adjusting ball drops by 3, 5, 7 and 9 inches depending on the model you choose.

What is more annoying than having a slightly uneven truck bed just because your hitch is in the way?

That is the one of the foremost problems that B&W has sought to solve over the years. The result in the end was the B&W Turnoverball Gooseneck Hitch that allows its gooseneck ball to drop below the truck bed surface when it is not needed. Amazing, huh?

This way it’s useful only when it’s needed around. It however requires a 4 inch hole to be drilled into the bed and the rest of the hitch can be mounted without additional drilling since it installs by bolting into existing frame holes on the truck bed. This makes it easy and super-neat to use since majority of the hitches hardware is tucked away from view beneath the bed. The ball also has a latch pin handle which goes through the ball. It is attached to a spring loaded 5/8 inch steel locking pin for easy operation.
