Nitto Street Tires - Speed, Handling, and Comfort

Everyone wants to be a part of Nitto.

Street performance is all about speed, handling, and comfort. Nitto has done their best to bring all of these traits to the forefront of their street tire line, and wow, did they do a great job.

Currently, Nitto offers a variety of street tires. Each of them specializes in a slightly different aspect of street performance. So, if you’re searching for the perfect street tire, Nitto has everything that you could ever want. Let’s take a look at what they have to offer.

Nitto Street Tires - The Motivo

The Motivo is designed to handle all weather conditions. Out of all the street tires offered by Nitto, this is probably the closest to an All-Terrain tire. But, it still brings the riding comfort, minimized road noise, and increased mileage that we’ve come to expect from a street tire.

The Motivo is designed with an all-new silica rubber compound that helps to deliver better gas mileage and better traction in wet conditions. Nitto gives this tire the highest ratings in ride comfort, quietness, and wet performance.

Nitto Street Tires - The NT420S

The NT420S is all about luxury. If you’re looking for a tire that is perfect for going out and cruising downtown in a smooth ride, this tire would be perfect. The NT420S is made with an asymmetrical, non-directional tread pattern that reduces wear and gives improved handling. Also, the tread compound is composed of silica, which is also wear resistant and will give you a tire that lasts. Nitto gives the NT420S its highest ratings in traction and tread wear.

Nitto Street Tires - The NT05

Out of all the Nitto tires, the NT05 brings the highest street performance. It was developed through extensive computer simulation modeling and on-track testing, which is great for all those speed demons out there. In order to bring this high level performance, some sacrifices were made in the smoothness of the ride and the quietness. The NT05 has the smoothest center rib tread pattern of all the Nitto street tires, but has large outer shoulder tread blocks that amp up performance on the road. The reinforced tread blocks help to deliver stability, as well. Nitto gives the NT05 its highest ratings in dry performance and overall street capability.

Nitto Street Tires - The Invo

The Invo is probably Nitto’s best all-around street tire. It is designed to bring a blend of performance, comfort, and quality. The Invo’s tread pattern was designed through computer technology and engineering software. The asymmetrical tread pattern that was eventually developed is ideal for reducing sound and minimizing wear. Additionally, the Invo has a continuous center rib that provides constant contact with the ground and maximizes handling and stability (especially acceleration and braking). Nitto gives the Invo its highest ratings in ride comfort, quietness, performance and traction.

One thing is for sure: Nitto has every possible street tire available. No matter what you’re need or preference is, there’s no reason to look anywhere else.
