This new device is engineered for Ford Car owners/drivers that want the speedometer recalibration functions of the Max Energy Programmer without the additional expense of the other tuning features. The Speedometer Calibrator for Ford Car comes with a USB cable and a CD containing software to enable quick updates and upgrades over the internet. For an additional charge, the Speedometer Calibrator can be upgraded to a Max Energy Power Programmer for Ford Car via the internet to include all the Max Energy features available for Ford Cars/Mustang. After installing tires that are larger or smaller than original equipment tires, or installing a ring and pinion gear set with a different rear gear ratio into your Ford Cars/Mustang, the Speedometer Calibrator allows re-programming for correct speedometer and odometer readings, as well as correcting part-throttle shifting. As a result, the automatic transmission shift correctly and the speedometer readings will be accurate (as required by law).
