Engine Configuration Tips for all Edelbrock Nitrous Systems

1. When using an Edelbrock Nitrous System, extra fuel is required to make the added horsepower. Edelbrock recommends Edelbrock fuel pumps to supply the needed fuel for all Edelbrock Nitrous Systems.

2. Because of the high cylinder pressures generated with nitrous systems, Edelbrock recommends high-strength internal engine components such as forged pistons and crankshaft, high-performance connecting rods, etc. with power increases of 150 horsepower or more.

3. Since many standard ignition systems experience misfire at high cylinder pressures and/or high RPM, Edelbrock recommends using a high-quality performance ignition system. All performance upgrades such as Edelbrock Performer and Performer RPM Power Packages, fresh air systems, cams, cylinder heads, etc. will work with the Performer and Performer RPM Nitrous Systems.
