The Bark River International Raceway is 1.6 miles long and is known for its high horsepower and very exciting races that draw huge crowds. This raceway has produced some exciting wins for Johnny& C.J. Greaves and is one of their favourite tracks in the series.

The Saturday Races

The event started on Saturday with a number of races that helped get the ground ready for the pro class races that were to happen that afternoon. CJ was the first on the track with his 33 Monster Energy Toyota Maxxis Tire Pro Light. CJ had a rough start finding himself marred in traffic but managed to pull himself out and by the second half of the race he was heading to the top. As the white flag was displayed, CJ pulled himself further ahead passing a couple of people to settle at 5th place.

He did not let this get to his head as he went right ahead to prepare for the highly competitive Pro 2WD race. CJ was really looking forward to this race as there was only a 21 points difference between him and Chad Hord who was in second place. He started on the front row besides Mike Jenkins and the two stayed that way for the first lap. By the second lap, CJ was leading with Chad Hord coming in second. CJ managed to stay on the lead to the end and took his 7th Pro-2 win of the season.

Johnny Greaves on his part started from row 3 with Scott Douglas besides him. He managed to maneuver through the track and as they emerged from the “S” turns he was at 3rd place. This put him directly behind Scott Douglas and Mike Jenkins. In the cemetery turn, Jenkins bobbled and Johnny took advantage passing him and going straight ahead towards Scott Douglas.

On the next lap, Johnny had a great run and managed to overtake Douglas in the cemetery turn to take the lead. This seems to be Johnny’s favorite place to pass other racers. He managed to stay on top from this point and went ahead to win the race.
