Mamba Wheels Share Great Features

Mamba Wheels manufactures wheels for both off road and street use. They are therefore designed with both a classy appeal and a performance focus. Not only do they look good and work well, they also do so for an extended period. This is made possible by the careful choice of material used on them. Mamba wheels are constructed using 6061 aluminum. This aluminum alloy is a lightweight metal that contains magnesium and silicon as main alloying elements. Its excellent mechanical properties make it easy to weld and cast into unique designs. Major wheel manufacturers acknowledge this and use the alloy to make great street and off-road wheel profiles while preserving a light weight. The Mamba M12, M1X and M2X Wheels reflect this construction approach with their exquisite style patterns.

Combinations of Black and Machined Finishes

The Mamba M12, M1X and M2X wheels are made with remarkable finishes that you could recognize from a distance. The M1X features a matte black tone on the rim. The spokes however have a machined face on them. They have additional sunken channels on the spokes that are finished in gloss black color to contrast the machined finish. The result is a beautiful combination of neutral color tones that represent the Mamba Wheels aesthetic. The M2X has a similar design although its machined spokes have hollow gaps instead of sunken parts, while its rim has a gloss black tone instead of matte black. The M12 has a simpler matte black spoke finish. The machined finish on the wheel is on the lip of the rim where it alternates intricately with black segments.

Multiple Spoke Designs

Another feature that the M12, M1X and M2X share is a multi-spoke pattern. The M1X and M2X for instance have a seven spoke pattern while the M12 bears a twelve spoke design. An interesting characteristic that can be noted on the M12 is the shape of the spokes which combine curved surfaces with angled out rounded edges. The M2X on the other hand comprises of a twin spoke profile with each piece in the spokes separated by a rectangular gap.

Lug and Beadlock Patterns

The last defining element we noted in the above three Mamba wheels that makes them stand out is the beadlocks that line their flanges and their lug patterns around the center cap. The Mamba M2X and M12 both have a ring of beadlocks along their slightly offset flanges. Although the M1X does not have a set of beadlocks on its rim lip, it has fastening bolts that join the spokes onto the flange. They have a machined finish that makes them conspicuous and thus complimentary to the overall look. Both Mamba M1X and M2X wheels have 5 and 6 bolt patterns located around the center cap while the M12 has an additional wheel option with 8-bolt compatibility.
