Smittybilt Sure Step Side Bar are carefully crafted for Cherokee XJ to ensure proper alignment of step-to-door area. These double-function step bar aids in stepping in and out of the cab and protects the body from damages when off-roading. This side bar is built from rugged 3" carbon steel tube that’s been treated with zinc undercoating for maximum rust protection and finished with a dual stage high gloss powder coat. These step bars are durable and have no loose ends or any exposed metals. The sure step also has safety features, reinforced non-slip polyester step for secure footing and are secured with 5 pins in the step area and an 8-point frame mounting system secures the step bar installation. An oversized single bolt attachment prevents tube step to bounce or flex. Smittybilt includes a 3rd center bracket for addition support for the Sure Step. This product comes with a powder coated steel mounting brackets and installation manual for reference. Sure Step Side bar can easily be installed because it is custom designed to specific application for perfect fitment.
