BF Goodrich G-Force Tires Guarantee All Season Traction

Race tires are tires that guarantee extreme levels of endurance. At BF Goodrich the research and development done to produce their line of race performance tires has resulted in large range of categories for different race environments. The BF Goodrich collection comprises of desert racing tires, mud trail racing tires, drag racing tires, commercial all season tires and long trail tires. They are each produced to aid the driver’s handling and operation and make it easier to win titles. Amongst the most notable series of tires to have come from BF Goodrich factories is the G-Force series. This series consists of six distinct tire models that have varying characteristics. The six tires include:

• g-Force T/A Drag Radial tires

• g-Force T/A KDW tires

• g-Force Sport COMP-2 tires

• g-Force Super Sport A/S tires

• g-Force T/A KDWS tires

• g-Force R1 tires

T/A

The T/A tire brand from BF Goodrich stands for their long standing mission to create Traction Advantage. This is a property that you will find not only on the T/A models of the g-Force line but in all other BF Goodrich T/A tires as well. The three tires under the g-Force line-up that have T/A characteristics are g-Force T/A Drag Radial tires, g-Force T/A KDW tires and g-Force T/A KDWS tires. They are designed to be equally effective in all types of weather. The acronym KDWS specifies this characteristic (Key benefits Dry Wet and Snow) The KDWS tire model has a five rib pattern on the treads. This enhances its road traction levels to cover more weather conditions than the three ribbed g-Force T/A KDW. As for T/A Drag radial, the smooth and shallow tread offset gives it unmatched RPMs for street and track competitions.

Super Sport A/S

An all season tire with the ability to cut down more seconds off your speedometer is the best deal you can have as a motorsport racer. The g-Force Super Sport A/S give you all that with its intricate design. It not only has a five rib tread pattern that ups its traction levels, the ribs are heavily siped to cut down on hydroplaning and thus keep you ahead of the competition come rain or shine.

Besides the g-Force T/A Drag Radial we mentioned above, you have another drag race tire to opt for. The g-Force R1 is a smooth treadles tire that is DOT-approved and specially engineered by BF Goodrich for professional racers. It has amazing steering grip and accurate steering response due to the special compounds used on it.

Sport COMP-2

The g-Force Sport Comp 2 has various similarities to the g-Force Super Sport A/S such as its five rib tread pattern and rigid shoulder block. But in contrast to the Super Sport A/S, g-Force Sport Comp 2 tires are free of siping and have shallow tread grooves. The reason behind this is to maximize its dry braking abilities and speed levels. It is further reinforced for long lasting usage by its BF Goodrich’s ETEC system; a system that comprises of twin high tensile steel belts below the tire ply.
