These tire carriers from Rugged Ridge are the most quiet tire carriers on the market. The massive hinge pivots on a heavy-duty roller bearing and supports up to a 35" tire. A multi-position locking pin mechanism keeps the arm in the open position when need to open the tailgate, even on the steepest grade. Tire Carrier Linkage
The Rugged Ridge Tire Carrier Linkage makes it easier to access the cargo area even with the swing out tire carrier installed. These Tire Carrier Linkage mates tire carrier to the tailgate so both open in a single fluid movement. No drilling required to mount the linkage to the tailgate but minor drilling is required to mount the linkage to the tire carrier.
