With the changes to automotive lighting during the past two decades, there has been a major move toward the use of halogen bulbs as the light source. This technology has proven to be superior to incandescent sealed beams in that the halogen produces a much whiter light and has added more life and efficiency to the bulbs.

Anticipating these changes and feeling that the halogen is indeed superior to sealed beams, KC HiLiTES has begun replacing their sealed beam lights with high performance halogen units as well as incorporating improvements developed by KC HiLiTES, such as tougher filaments and higher wattages. These changes are being made to attain superior performance and maintain a long service life.
