The sound volume is dependent on the flow characteristics of the exhaust
and on your use of the volume control in your right hand, better known as the throttle. The sound
icons throughout this catalog are there to show you the differences between the sounds of our
products.
Quiet
Indicates exhausts near stock levels
for street applications and within
limits for race applications. Systems
with quiet core options will be at the
quiet end while race core choices
will be significantly louder.
Moderate
Indicates exhausts with a louder
than stock exhaust volume that can
be effectively controlled with a
reasonable amount of throttle
control.
- "A lot of the attention that an exhaust system gets is from the sound it makes going around the track. A particular ATV might be enormously fast but it may not make you turn your head as its going by because it does not sound like it is going fast. A SuperTrapp exhaust system has that impressive sound. Whats nice about a SuperTrapp is that you have the option to tune for decreased volume if your particular riding area requires it. Its a great muffling spark arrestor device".
