The R4 ATV Off Road Chain has the following features:
- Patented z-ring seals dramatically increase the life of the chain
- Larger diameter pins manufactured from specially enhanced steel improve the resistance to shock loads
- A quad riveting process on each pin increases the tensile strength of the chain
- Thicker inner and outer plates increase the fatigue life of the chain
Renthal is a world-renowned international company that sells all over the globe. Its manufacturing heart is located in Manchester, UK.
Formed in year 1969 by Andrew Renshaw and Henry Rosenthal, both motorcycle buffs, Renthal mainly produces handlebars for trial bikes that time. RENTHAL combines REN from Renshaw and THAL from Rosenthal. The company had steady growth through the 70’s and 80’s and finally bust into the US market in the early 90s.
Renthal currently employs over 60 production staff and its products are sold in 42 countries worldwide. Renthal's 41,000 sq. ft. factory now uses the most state of the art equipment available for manufacturing, quality control, R&D, and storage. This includes five Yamazaki two and three axis CNC turning centers, seven Kitamura machining centers, one Kardex Shuttle 500NT automated vertical storage system, and a number of other custom specification machines. These custom spec machines include bar bending machines, a fatigue tester and drop test rig created to fatigue aluminum handlebars.
