Progressive Suspension Shocks425 Series shocks are perfect for ATV riders and enthusiasts who desires for a better performing suspension without having to break the bank. Available in Standard or Heavy Duty spring rates, the 425 Series features a beefy 16mm shaft, a twin tube and high pressure nitrogen charged damper all in which is wrapped in a stylish powder coated coil spring with a touch of chrome. The PSI 425 Series shocks are easy to construct and easy to tune via threaded preload adjusters similar to a modern motocross bike. It does not require any other modifications and can be easily installed with basic tools.

They have undergone extensive R&D to provide the finest possible suspension for every workhorse vehicle. We use improved spring rates for heavier load stability and handling over rough terrain as well as increased length for more travel and ground clearance. The 512 Series comes with an adjustable spring preload to accommodate different loads (i.e. mounting a plow or carrying a hay bale). Included as well is the Shock “Sox” to help keep dirt and mud out of the spring and to keep the adjusters clean.

Shocks Preload Adjusters. shocks for their specific combination of bike and rider weight. Although we design a shock to fit and perform on a specific motorcycle, we have no way of knowing if the rider will be 140lb or 240lb and the addition of cargo and passenger further complicates the issue. An obvious solution is an adjustment on the shock that allows the rider to quickly set up his shocks to match his bike/rider weight combination. This is where Preload Adjustment comes into play. By compressing or uncompressing the spring in a small amount, a shock can be perfectly tuned to suit the conditions for which it will be used. In addition to this level of tuning, most PSI shocks are also offered in Heavy Duty applications, recommended for bikes that are operated at or near the manufacturer’s maximum load rating over 50% of the time.
