Kastar Hand Tools (formally known as Kastar, Inc.) was
founded in 1929 by Samual Kaplan and L. Stark in New York, New York. The Company
later moved to Bellport Long Island where it remained until it was acquired in 1985
by A & E Incorporated, and moved to Racine, Wisconsin.
Kastar Hand Tools continues to produce quality tools, such as thickness and spark
plug gauges, ratcheting box wrenches, rethreading tools, axle/spindle nut sockets,
and a wide variety of other specialty hand and automotive tools for the DIY (Do-It
Yourself) and the Professional Technician. Kastar tools make tough, time-consuming
