Centauro SRL has always been a green company that provides enthusiastic support to the development of renewable energy sources. For this reason, Centauro Gaskets invested in the construction of a photovoltaic generator unit, based on the latest cadmium/tellurium technology. This new unit began to function in December 2009. Its potential output is of 61.20 kW, and uses approximately 900 collecting panels. It is fitted to the roof of Centauro’s building and covers a surface of approximately 1400 square meters. Centauro Company will function with no atmospheric emissions and the only waste by-products will be those which can be collected and disposed of by the usual urban service. Its generator demonstrates that Centauro, as a green company, is really doing its best for the environment. The company feels certain that this investment will meet the approval of all those who share Centrauro environmental concern.
