Models below marked with a * will use the adapter provided in the kit at no extra charge. These adapters will require welding to the factory muffler. This will create an attachment point for the silencer to pressure fit on and off of. ONLY the adapter is permanent.

Some models do not need an adapter, being the factory muffler has enough flange to attach to.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR INSTALLATION ON ATV SILENCERS

Never is the ATV Silencer a permanent mount. Onlythe adapter that requires welding is permanent. Adapters are used for an attachment point. All ATV Silencers will pressure/friction fit onto the stock muffler flange or the adapter. This unique design does not need clamping, therefore; making a very easily installation and removable if ever needed. All ATV Silencers are designed with a heat shield, turn down pipe and mounting brackets for a secure mount. There is no assembly necessary!

NO ADAPTER NEEDED

This means that your ATV has enough tail pipe off lange on the stock muffler for the silencer to get a tight seal without any welding needed. There are support brackets on the silencer that will mount onto your back rack bars or frame with rubber clamps provided that will secure a solid mount.

WELD ON ADAPTER 

This means that your ATV muffler does not have anything for the silencer to slide onto or attach to; therefore a small piece of tubing is recommended wire welding to the end of your stock muffler. Remember only the adapter is permanent, not the silencer. This will create a perfect size tubing for the silencer to pressure fit onto. There are support brackets on the silencer that will mount onto your back rack bars or frame with clamps provided that will secure a solid mount.

OPTIONAL BOLT-ON ADAPTER 

This is only available forthe Honda Rubicon 500 (01-04) Yamaha Rhino 450,660
Yamaha Kodiak 400,450  Yamaha Bruin 350 and the Yamaha Grizzly350,400,450,660.

You can choose the“weld on adapter” at no charge, but you do have this option being your stock muffler has 3 existing bolts in the spark arrestor. The bolt on adapter makes it easier to mount because it lines up perfectly with the existing bolt holes. You do not have to drill new or extra holes! Once the adapter is in place, the silencer will pressure fit onto it. There are support brackets on the silencer that will either mount onto your back rack bars or frame with clamps provided that will secure a solid mount.

All silencers are custom designed to fit the individual unit, with heat shield & turn down pipe. They mount very sturdy without any rattling or loose components.
