The WARN Works™ 1700 patent-pending design boasts a permanent magnet, 1.9hp motor and an all-metal gear housing and gear train. Its easy-to-use, heavy-duty rotary control switch for power-in or power-out can be mounted on the motor or remotely. Also, the winch's multi-directional clutch has a lever-actuated spring with a cam-over pin that is simple to engage from any angle while its brake has a self-locking gear train that holds full-rated load. For tight spaces or ease of use, the wire rope can be reattached to set the motor operation on the right or left side.
