Some truck owners want the benefits of a WARN winch, but don't want to change the lines of their vehicle. So WARN engineers have created a semi-hidden mounting system that mounts the winch using factory frame holes and retains the OE bumper. The system for the Ford Super Duty and Excursion will handle the M12000 and M15000. The bumper moves out a slight 127mm and ABS trim is applied to accentuate the factory lines. This material can be painted to match the vehicle color or left its natural matte black. Access to the winch controls is from the top. For the '97-99 Ford 4x4 F150, F250LD and Expedition the winch mounts inside the factory bumper. Access to controls is gained through the large air intake. The wire rope is fed through a roller fairlead mounted beneath the bumper. An excellent platform to mount the Warn HS9500i winch (also will accept the HS9500, XD9i, XD9, X8i, M8 and M6).
