Unlike other intakes on the market, Takeda Air Intake Systems was introduced by aFe to make changes in-line with air flow system to have better engine performance while producing clean air. Honda vehicles with takeda air intake systems produced more maximum flow and filtration. The Takeda Air Intake Systems are constructed with mandrel-bent aluminum tubing either in polished clear-coator powder-coated black finish. These systems use the progressive ProDryS media that require no oil and are easy to clean with simple soap and water. Each intake uses a large 360 degree high flow PRO Dry S air filter for maximum flow, filtration and convenience. The Takeda Air Intake Systems offered three different styles on intakes: - Takeda Attack – The Takeda Attack puts the filter behind the front bumper to ingest cold dense air. - Takeda Retain - Takeda Retain is a simple bolt-on system that requires no bumper removal. - Takeda Link - Takeda Link is a cold air intake system that can be converted into a short ram intake. These intake systems are incorporate with innovative design features such as tuned MAF sensor locations 3-angle filter adaptor and heat shields to maximize performance. Takeda intakes come complete with all tubing, filters, couplers and hardware for an easy installation.
