Superchip Drivers Take Podium Finishes At Dirt Riot National Championships

On June 14th this year the Dirt Riot series returned to RAM Off Road Park near Colorado Springs, Colorado for the Dirt Riot Mountain Series Round #2 race. This truck park is known to have a lot of jumps and sharp turns making it difficult for both beginners and experienced drivers.

Superchips sponsored riders, Four Corners 4x4 team, travelled to Colorado with high hopes as they have been having a good year so far. They were not disappointed at the end of this as they managed to get a third place podium finish.

The Fifth Consecutive Podium Finish For Four Corners 4×4

This was the fifth event in the 2014 season and the team managed to clinch a podium finish. The podium finish in Colorado is the fifth for the team this year meaning that they have managed to have a podium finish in every event they have participated in this year. This is quite impressive for the team and at the end of the event in Colorado, the team managed to finish at position three. This has raised hopes for the team members who still have a chance for one of the top three spots in the Dirt Riot 4600 Stock Class National Championship.

Jason Kaminsky, who is part of the team, said that he had enjoyed it in Colorado Springs and competing in this event each year makes him happy.

He added that, “All of the competitors in the 4600 Stock Class are bringing their A-Game to every event this season which is making for a strong, competitive field; and, this event was no different. The level of consistency amongst all of the teams is building toward a championship that will be hard-fought and well-deserved.”

Even with the sharp corners and jumps, the team managed to beat competitors to third place finish to secure a safe spot in the standings as they prepare to wind up the 2014 season. The event is currently on break for the summer and will resume on August 16th.

The event in August will be a double-points race and will also mark the end of the Dirt Riot Southwest and Mountain series. With this break, Kaminsky and fellow rider Richard Jenkins have a chance to repair any damages on the Jeep and upgrade their components. One component they might upgrade to is the Superchips iHawk which is the ultimate performance tool for the Jeep Wrangler.

Looking forward for the series to resume, the Four Corners 4×4 team has high hopes as last year they managed to finish at position one at the Battle Rock Off road Park near Cortez, Colorado. The race on August 16 will be held at this same location.
