• (1) Reference to Forged steel, Stamped steel and aluminum suspenion components is critical when selecting the correct kit for 14-16 GM1500 trucks. Trucks with aluminum or STAMPED steel upper and lower control arms have upper and lower ball joints that are not compatible with the steering knuckles used on vehicles equipped with forged steel upper control arms. Stamped steel arms have a smooth painted finish and are used on trucks produced 4/16 and later.
