The 2014 edition of the Lucas Oil Off Road series started off a little rocky for Team ReadyLIFT Racing led by Kyle Hart. Even with a bad start, Kyle managed to pull himself together to get his first podium finish of the year and his first ever career win in the Pro Lite series. With the win in Reno, Kyle has proved that he is among the best having outshined the strongest competitors such as Brian Deegan.

To compete in the same race as Brian Deegan is an accomplishment for Kyle as he is still a rookie in the series. Kyle was not intimidated in any way and looked forward to a good race coming from the amazing season he had in 2014. Kyle was also optimistic coming to the race as in April he had a second place finish at the competitive TORC series.

Kyle Wins the Pro-Lite Round 6

Kyle attributes his win to the combination of pre-race testing, practice, determination and skill. Winning in Reno is a very big deal for Kyle and his team given that the Wild West Motorsports Park in Reno is one of the most challenging ones especially when racing under the lights.

In the Pro-Lite Round 6, Kyle managed to come in 2nd in the qualifying race. This put his between RJ Anderson and Brian Deegan making it one of the most competitive qualifying races of Round 6. The main race itself ended up being even more challenging with cautions and restarts. The race got even worse when in lap 2 Justin Bean Smith had to walk away from a crush that dashed his hopes.

By lap 10, Kyle started regaining his speed to make up for the bad runs he had in the previous laps. Kyle managed to stay on course through the cautions and by lap 25 he took the lead displacing Jimmy Fishback and Sheldon Creed to 2nd and 3rd positions respectively.

The win in Reno was the first one ever for Kyle who has just turned 17. The ReadyLIFT Suspension team who sponsored him welcomed the win. At such a young age, we hope to see many more wins from him in future and even in other categories. This win for Kyle shows that winning runs in the family and he follows after his own father, Marty Hart, who has also had a good career.

Congratulations to Kyle and his team, may he see more wins in the near future.
