All the components that hold the hardhat tonneau cover together are UV tested and salt spray tested so there's no need to worry about rusting and changing colors. Usually tonneaus end up having molds under them,but the Torza Hardhat Tonneau Cover is designed to be water and mold resistant for trouble free use!
