No Vehicle Was Left Out

Fox Racing Shox’s products are designed for all kinds of vehicles. These include ATVs, bikes, trucks, UTV, Moto, Snowmobiles, off-road trucks and track racing cars. As you will notice these are the most extreme vehicle categories to designs shocks for. Fortunately, with the kind of specialization that Fox has invested in for each of these vehicle divisions, all Fox racing products have the same level of excellence. Fox’s bike shocks division alone has employed over 400 people who mainly work on mountain bike solutions given the large demand that exists in the mountain bike racing scene.

Doing It for the Champs

Fox Racing Shox’s prowess in developing superior shocks can be attested by the many racing teams around the world that have adopted Fox shocks to their racing needs. Mike Schultz, for instance, is a renowned number one title holder in the Summer and Winter X Games.

Amazingly, he has won many of his titles after losing his leg in a motorcross accident and having it replaced with a prosthetic one. He attests that the light weight properties of Fox shocks have helped him adapt to racing with his new prosthetic leg and carried him on to further success. He is not alone in his choice to use Fox Shocks in winning titles. Other athletes that have embraced Fox as a winning tool to the sport include Greg Minaar, Nico Lau and Rachel Atherton to name a few.

How Fox Shocks Keep It Cool When the Race Gets Hotter

In the rough trails of backcountry races, temperatures can peak to levels that will significantly affect your suspension. Fox’s off-road athlete Jesse Jones could attest to this when he participated in the San Felipe 250 racing series, one of the toughest off road competition in the world right now.

To help him keep his Fox Shocks cool under the uncontrollable temperatures at San Felipe, he took advantage of Fox’s Cactus Cooler. This unique innovation is a piece of external multi-stage cooling equipment that works with all bypass shocks made by Fox Racing Shocks. It passes the hydraulic fluid through adjustable bypass check valves and into a heat sink that is built with billet aluminum and stainless steel.

The shock’s piston also provides the force needed to pump the fluid through the heat sink and thus the faster it does this, the greater the cooling effect created by the device. This enables it to drop fluid temperatures down to 100 degrees. Fox’s Cactus Cooler naturally gives any off road racer an edge over other competitors by keeping the vehicle’s suspension free of temperature related inefficiencies.
