Please note that air pressure will vary depending upon several factors such as load, road conditions, temperature and personal preference. Feel free to experiment with different air pressures to find the best ride for you and your vehicle. Air pressure in Coil-Rite™ kits is dependent upon vehicle application. Ride-Rite kits can be installed on most light trucks, motor-homes, RVs, SUVs and vans. These are application-specific and designed to maximize the vehicle's safe load-carrying capacity, stability, ride quality and brake effectiveness.
Provide load support through the use of air pressure that can be adjusted for changing loads using Firestone’s most popular and comprehensive air helper springs line, Firestone Ride-Rite air helper springs. These products enhance the ride by reducing inter-leaf friction and features individual inflation valves that allow for separate side-to-side or front-to-rear adjustment. These will also help keep the vehicle level when carrying off-center loads and maintains ride quality under differing load conditions.
Most Ride-Rite kits are made with no-drill systems. These are designed to use the vehicle's factory holes and mount between its frame and suspension. All components are included in the kit for an easy installation that typically takes 1 to 2 hours and backed by a two-year limited warranty.
Firestone Ride Rite Air Springs
Firestone Ride Rite uses a pair of complex air springs which can be adjusted for changing loads. These are able to lift 3,200 up to 5,000 lbs. of load leveling capacity. The air springs improve the ride characteristics by reducing inter-leaf friction. Please take note that Firestone Ride Rite Air Springs do not increase the load-carrying capacity of your vehicle.
Firestone Ride Rite has a complete kit where everything you need for installation is included. The approximate installation time is about 1 to 2 hours only. These can be fixed easily onto your vehicle by using its brackets, mounting hardware, air springs, air lines, and separate valves for manual inflation.

The R4Tech suspension is an exclusive (patent pending), hybrid air-over-leaf suspension that gives the superior support of a full-air suspension. Each application is carefully designed and tuned to improve the ride quality and handling performance of the vehicle. R4Tech includes a leaf spring axle control, a standard leaf spring and Ride-Rite kit that ensures an easy installation.
Ride-Rite LS is Firestone's line of load adaptive shocks, a key component of the R4Tech premium suspension system, is an ideal upgrade to Ride-Rite air helper springs. The Ride-Rite LS is a tri-tube mono-flow shock absorber designed to deliver superior performance under a full range of load and temperature conditions. This easy-to-install product comes complete with air line and "T" fittings. You don’t need to crawl under the truck to adjust the shocks because it has a damping level that is automatically controlled by the air pressure inside the spring.

Work-Rite kits contain load assist springs, brackets, and hardware for a this quick installation. Spacers may also be used.
Work-Rite kit’s progressive load-deflection feature will give a smooth riding experience when your vehicle is fully loaded. The load assisting springs are injection-molded and made of microcellular urethane. This doesn’t utilize air like the Ride-Rite series of springs so there is no air pressure to monitor.
Most Work-Rite kits have a no-drill design which use existing holes in the frame for installation and require only simple hand tools. These springs are constructed with adjustability for individual loading scenarios using spacers provided in each kit. As an added feature, these are made with eight separate spring-geometry and stiffness combinations for several applications for light duty trucks, vans, and SUVs.
Air helper springs, hardware, air line, and separate valves for manual inflation are all included in the Coil-Rite kit. Coil-Rite Air Helper Springs are designed to work in temperatures between 180°F (82°C) and -40°F (-40°C). The design lets you fit it inside the existing coil springs to create a variable spring rate. Coil-Rite will level your vehicle and assist with more effective braking and handling, even under heavy loading and adverse road conditions.
Firestone Coil-Rite Spring also enables you to control the air pressure in the air helper springs that lets you make adjustments for varying loads and road conditions. The spring performance can be altered as easily as inflating a tire. These air helper springs are manufactured using durable, elastic polyurethane to provide years of comfort and stability to your vehicle. These products will support 500-1000 lbs. per set (not to exceed vehicle's GVWR).
Level-Rite kits contain a pair of reversible sleeve air springs paired with high-performance shock absorbers, tubing, and all necessary hardware. Firestone’s Level-Rite delivers the perfect leveling solution for front end of late model Dodge, Chevrolet and GMC trucks and SUVs. For these applications, Firestone has designed a fully-protected, reversible sleeve air spring and paired it with a high-performance Bilstein monotube shock absorber. These give perfectly matched performance characteristics over the entire operation range of your suspension. These are ideal to use for snow-plowing, towing slide-in-campers, and even great for large, heavy grille guards.
Other certain factory suspension configurations do not allow the fitment of a stand-alone air spring. It is necessary to pair the air spring with the shock absorber to achieve meaningful load capability while maintaining a hassle-free installation.
