Windshield Channels for
Bikini® Soft Tops
Bestop Windshield Channel

Bestop Windshield Channels are required to install Bestop Bikini® Tops. However if you already own a Bestop Soft Top, you may already have the required Windshield Channel or "Header". Please view the video above or refer to the information at the right to determine whether you need a Windshield Channel and which is the right one for your vehicle model!

Bestop offers four main Bikini Top types; the Header Bikini®, the Safari Bikini®, the Strapless Bikini®, and the Traditional Bikini®. One of these bikini tops will be perfect for your Jeep!


Windshield Channel is NOT Required for installation of Bikini® Tops for Samurai or Tracker.

Bestop Windshield Channel:

  • 1976-1995 CJ/YJ Wrangler (BST-51209-01) 2 Piece Drill-Style Windshield Channel is the same as the one comes with Bestop Soft Tops for CJ/JY, So if you already have one of those, you do not need to purchase an additional channel.
  • 1997-2006 TJ Wrangler (BST-51238-01) No-Drill (1 or 2 Piece) Windshield Channel same as the Channel that comes with Bestop Soft Tops, So if you already have a Bestop Soft Top, you are already all set to install a Bikini® for TJ without purchasing an additional Channel.
    Please Note: Installation of Strapless Bikini® for 97-02 Wrangler Requires BST-51210.
  • 2007-Up JK Wrangler (BST-51243-01) No-Drill 1 Piece. The Windshield Channel included with the Supertop for JK Wrangler does NOT work with any Bikini® Top. You will need to order a Windshield Channel to install any Bikini® Top on Wrangler JK.
